It’s no secret that the HCG diet has created quite a stir in the health and wellness industry. There seems to be some controversy over it’s safety as well as validity, spurred on by the FDA’s announcement of it’s ban on Homeopathic HCG and halting all production of any products claiming to be “Homeopathic”

And from what I understand, here is why
1. The FDA has a long list of Homeopathic remedies, which does not include HCG. The FDA is the only one who can deem a product “Homeopathic” There for, the companies claiming to have Homeopathic HCG, are simply advertising a product that does not exist.
2. The FDA warns against the “potential” side effects of the HCG diet, but to date, there has been no documented cases by the FDA of harmful side effects developed by a person on the HCG diet from the time of its conception over 50 years ago, by Dr. Simeons himself.
3. The FDA states that being on a very low calorie diet (500 calories a day) is not safe for anyone and could be dangerous to your health. But what the FDA fails to recognize is HOW the HCG hormone works. By taking HCG, whether by injection or sublingual drops, and going on the VLCD, the HCG forces your body to draw nutrients from it’s stored fat, without starvation or deprivation.

A Closer Look……….. Homeopathic -v- Vibrational
Most Homeopathic drops are manufactured through serial dilution, which in most cases means, they have been diluted 30-60 times from the original HCG, resulting in substantial variations in the HCG potency. Thus, from batch to batch the strength and potency may very dramatically.

Whether the FDA chooses to believe it or not, HCG works, and there are thousands of people out there that have had their health improved by losing weight using the HCG diet, without any harmful side effects, myself included
